Youri Baas has been reinstated to the starting lineup for Ajax's top match against PSV in the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie. Ajax analyst Hugo Borst believes this is a positive development, stating that Baas has been treated scandalously by the team. Borst notes that Baas was not allowed to play in the preparation a few times, leading him to think that coach Míchel might not have found him interesting.
Baas has been a standout player for Ajax, particularly in the Conference League, where he often had to settle for a spot on the bench. However, with Daley Blind currently dealing with an injury, Baas may now have a chance to secure a regular starting spot.
