Feyenoord's 2-0 win over AZ was one of the standout results from the first round of matches back. PSV had a less good match against SC Heerenveen, while Ajax lost points in their home match against NEC with a 1-1 score. Voetbal International reported that Marco Timmer and Geert-Jan Jakobs joined Sjoerd Keizer as presentators to discuss the eighth round of the Eredivisie. The men also discussed other clubs, including FC Utrecht, Fortuna Sittard, and FC Twente. Voetbal International suggests that FC Twente is expected to finish higher than Ajax.
