FC Twente's upcoming opponent is ranked around 200 places below the lowest-placed Eredivisie team on the Euro Club Index, a list of all European clubs competing at the highest national level. This suggests that the match against Lincoln Red Imps could be a relatively easy win for FC Twente.
Lincoln Red Imps qualified for the Conference League due to a miraculous night in Northern Ireland, where they came back from a losing position against Larne FC. The Gibraltar-based team scored twice in the last minutes of the match, securing their spot in the Conference League.
