Guus Hiddink Predicts PSV to Win Eredivisie Title This Year

Legendary coach Guus Hiddink has expressed his hopes that PSV will become the Eredivisie champion this year, according to an interview with the NOS. Hiddink, a former PSV coach, believes that the Eindhoven-based team has a good chance of winning the title.

Hiddink hopes that the title race will be thrilling and that the outcome will be decided later than in previous years. He thinks that Ajax, Feyenoord, and AZ might be less competitive this season, which could make the title race more exciting. In the interview, Hiddink was asked about the 'fear of Dutch coaches' and replied that he doesn't think it's a problem to hire a foreign coach if a Dutch one is not available. He cited his own experience as an example, saying that he was hired by the Australian national team despite being a Dutch coach.

Hiddink believes that the intensity in Dutch football should be higher and that he hopes to see this between Feyenoord and PSV. He was also asked to predict the score of the upcoming PSV-Feyenoord match, to which he replied "3-2".
