Driessen has been following Zonneveld since his time at Telstar, after he moved from Quick Boys. He recognises the same drive in Sparta Rotterdam's striker. Driessen is also impressed by Zonneveld's development. "He's a boy with a lot of energy, always going for it." Zonneveld has started scoring, and Driessen saw him make a run down the wing and deliver a precise cross against Willem II last week. Driessen thought this was a sign of significant progress. Driessen predicts a bright future for Zonneveld, but acknowledges he doesn't have the same character as Weghorst. "He's fortunate not to have the same character as Wout Weghorst."
